Please remember that the submission process for the DoCEIS’13 – 4th Doctoral Conference on Computing, Electrical and Industrial Systems is still open. The Conference will be held at Costa de Caparica, Lisbon – Portugal, April 15-17, 2013.

All submitted papers will be peer reviewed and the DoCEIS’13 proceedings are expected to be published by Springer, IFIP AICT series (indexed in Web of Science), similarly to the previous three editions of the Conference.

Important dates:

  • Submission of short abstracts for research papers: September 30, 2012
  • Submission of full research papers:                October 31, 2012
  • Notification of acceptance of research papers:     November 30, 2012
  • Camera ready research papers:                      December 22, 2012

You are invited to submit original full papers (max. 8 pages) in the
following areas:

  • Computational and Perceptional Systems
  • Control and Decision
  • Electronics
  • Energy
  • Enterprise Collaborative Networks
  • Industry Information System
  • Robotics and Integrated Manufacturing
  • Signal Processing
  • Telecommunications

As the three previous editions of the event, DoCEIS’13 is organized by:

  • PhD Program on Electrical and Computer Engineering,
  • Faculty of Sciences and Technology – “Universidade Nova de Lisboa”.

As for the three previous editions, the conference will receive the following technically co-sponsorship :

  • SOCOLNET – Society of Collaborative Networks
  • IFIP WG5.5
  • Industrial Electronics Society / IEEE
